Links for Current Events (here we can set up links to our favorite news sources or cause pages. Additionally, I thought we could create a discussion board here…perhaps exta credit for various classes depending on the relatability to the class the student is inl it could be for content or just participation)

Interactive Maps (This could be regular maps too or other cool links to things students can use to understand their world)

Study Tools (this could be our study guides, links to other teacher pages for things like AP study tools, the OGT success website etc)

Social Studies Related Jobs & Skill sets (this is big in the new standards we can get a little jump on it be linking to things or sites people could do with a social studies education, which obviously is enourmous, but perhaps this is a collaborative end of the year thing for students to help us create)

Enrichment sites for US History   World History   Psychology  Sociology  Economics  Government   World Issues   World Religions (this could be an alternative for you creating your own page…just do it as a “class team” it could have more specific websites for your subject, study tools, research information and links to great websites we want to use but just don’t have time ex: Alabama state archives with pics of jim crow south)
